Big data handles the organization, administration, and governance of the large and huge volumes of the data which can be used and the information which can be obtained from the structured and unstructured data. Big data rises to big data analytics when such data is to be analyzed and put to use.

The big data analytics in the business focus on the fact that terabytes or petabytes of a large amount of data and information is available in various file formats and have to be analyzed in the business. Big data analytics thus is used in the business to gather information which is required in the business from the huge volume of the data.

The relevance of big data analytics int eh business applications is there that it can uncover the hidden patterns in the data in the businesses and then the businesses can apply the analytics and generate much value from it for the businesses. Big data and analytics are important to the businesses as it helps in the reduction of the cost, and also helps in the faster, better and efficient decision making. Big data analytics also helps to improve the existing services and products and also focus on generating new ones which are in the existing capacity of the business.
