b) The type of seven segment displays on your FPGA board is: 4 digit LED display

c) The pins connected to the anodes of the seven segment displays are called the Digital Enable signal pins, which when drived high enables the digit to show up on the display. These all pins on display are connected together to make one enable pin as shown.

d) The pins connected to the cathodes of the seven segment display are the ground pins and are separate from each other representing each pin as shown. So this pin when derived with low signal will enable the digit to show up on the display.
