Homework Answers

Answer #1

1. Pre empoyment screening is neccessary when number of applicants are much higher in number . As every organisation have limited number of employees , so personally interviewing every candidate is never a feasible option. Majority of the organisations these days have a really efficient screening policy for screening job applicants as per the role . Organisations do spent heavily in creating and adopting a sound screening process for candidates.

Thus screening applicants before employment makes the task of recruitment team easier and thus they get to handle only good candidates for job positions. Thus saving on time and money.

2. Internet searches on applicants - Yes , internet searches on applicant is fair but only untill you are leaking the candidates personal information for commercial purposes. Many issues have been found where the candidates keep getting junk mails and malwares in form of recruitment emails. Thus making very tough for the candidate to decide which is a trusted source and which one is not.

searching candidates on internet should follow cyber and human ethics so that both candidate and recruitment teams are in good terms with each other.
