1) It has higher capacity than cd and dvd's.

2) Faster writing and reading comparing other devices.

3) Compact and portable.

4) Replacable.

Disadvantages:

1) Sometimes it is noisy and may be easily damageable.

2) Slower than random access memory.

3) Any time crashing is possible.

4) Cannot be access through internet like cloud technologies.
