You can use PPT, VISIO or any other graphical modeling tool to create your ER diagram.

Some of the entities and attributes that I believe my company should have would be:

• Employees: First Name, Last Name, Employee Address, Employee Phone Number, Employee ID Number, Date of Birth, Social Security Number, Job Title, Pay Rate, and Hours Worked
• Inventory: Item Name, Part Number, Count Number, Location Name
• Customer: Customer Name, Customer Address, Customer Phone Number, Customer Email, Customer Company Name, Customer Job Needs.
• Service Provided: Service Name, Service Details, Service Price

Possible other Entity:

Engineer-HW Cert, SW Cert, Project experience, support experience.

The ER diagram for the Company is attached below:

• Most relationships are included as were listed in the description provided.
• An extra entity of service request has been added
• Few extra attributes are added for Services entity
  • An attribute for the inventory required to complete that service
  • Another attribute for the concerned employee designation (example, engineer I, engineer II, manager, team leader etc) that will oversee that service has also been added
• Cardinality is included based on the assumption that the company needs at least one employee while it can have zero or more instances of Services, Inventory, Customer and Service Requests.
