2.4 What is a prime number?

2.5 What is Euler's totient function?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

2.1 b is divisor of a means that a is divided by b or we can say b is multiple of a

Let a and b are integer then when we say b is divisor of a then it mean a = b*h where h is an integer

Eg 2 is divisor of 8

2.4 prime no. - >basically a prime no. is a natural no. Which is divisible by itself And 1. Here natural no. Is greater than 1

Eg 2,3,5,7,11,13....

2.5 euler totient function :-for any number n, euler totient function is used to count those no. From 1 to n which are relatively prime to n.

For eg:- n =4

Euler totient function =2

Because only 1 and 3 are relatively prime to 4
