You suspect a component in a computer is fried. You remove any unnecessary hardware devices one by one to narrow down where the problem exists. Which step in the troubleshooting process is this?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

Answer)
We suspect that some component in the component is fried and thus we take the step of removing any parts which are not necessary as hardware devices and try to narrow down to where the problem exists. The step in the troubleshooting process is:
Examining the system or Examine the System

This is because the system needs to be examined before coming to a conclusion as to which part of faulty, removing the unnecessary hardware only narrows down the search to the item which is faulty and then repairs the computer by repairing or replacing the faulty hardware device.

Prove that for a square n ×n matrix A, Ax = b (1) has one and only one solution if and only if A is invertible; i.e., that there exists a matrix n ×n matrix B such that AB = I = B A. NOTE 01: The statement or theorem is of the form P iff Q, where P is the statement “Equation (1) has a unique solution” and Q is the statement “The matrix A is invertible”. This means...

Suppose you are given a set S = {a1,a2,···,an} of tasks, where task ai requires pi units of processing time to complete, once it has started. You have one computer on which to run these tasks, and the computer can run only one task at a time. Let ci be the completion time of task ai, that is, the time at which task ai completes processing. Your goal is to minimize the average completion time, that is, to minimize n1...

c++ Program Description You are going to write a computer program/prototype to process mail packages that are sent to different cities. For each destination city, a destination object is set up with the name of the city, the count of packages to the city and the total weight of all the packages. The destination object is updated periodically when new packages are collected. You will maintain a list of destination objects and use commands to process data in the list....

The instructions below are considered ineffective as they are not following the effective instructions strategy. 1 Turn your fan on to make sure that the motor works. Plug your fan in and turn it on to the highest power setting. If the fan blades move a little or it starts to turn, the motor is probably...

Lab 9 – Molecular Biology In this lab, you will prepare an agarose gel and use gel electrophoresis to compare the size of 2 dye molecules Methyl orange and Ponceau G. You will also analyze an “unknown” sample that contains a mixture of two dyes. Dye molecules with lower molecular weight or greater electrical charge will migrate faster through the gel, than dye molecules with greater molecular weights or lesser electrical charge. Materials: Mini gel electrophoresis chamber 6 Tooth comb...

please read and answer questions down below thank you Economics is a social science. It deals with people’s behavior. As sociology, psychology and politics, economics is the study of human action. So, in economics, we are...

Please can someone summarize the content below? Thank you. Medications Work Differently In Older Adults Print FacebookTwitterLinkedInEmail Medication dose, as well as information about the effectiveness and side effects of medication, are generally determined by studies done in relatively young, healthy people. This information may not apply to older adults, because our bodies and how we process medications change with age. As we get older, our bodies react to drugs differently than when we were younger. The aging process, along...
