Advances in technology have come with some positive effects on the quality of life but at what cost? These advances require access to huge amounts of resources such as rare minerals. This requires mining, mining requires trucks and machinery, the machinery requires fossil fuels to run and the cost in pollution, and the exploitation of the earth's resources is huge. The corporations selling you these products are also the ones that pay for the advertising, blaming consumers for polluting the earth.

Are the advertisements right or wrong? Are consumers more the blame for the state of the environment then the those selling us the advances we so desperately crave? Discuss your view: pro or con.

There was a common saying "Every coin has two sided". With that statement technology too have its two sides one that takes the world more faster and glorious to watch and the other side it is exploiting the earth at even more higher speed.

This is ridiculous that corporation mining the materials and advertising us to save the nature. Every contribution is required to give the earth as in the same condition given by our ancestors to our children's.

I strongly say or recommend these advertisements are root less and have no exact meaning for it. Because a healthy life is more important than a wealthy life.

Pros:

Technology brings us more advancements, less time, more luxury.

Cons:

Exploits human and earth's health and wealth.
