In cellular systems, control and signaling is implemented over traffic channels.

True

False

Homework Answers

Answer #1

In cellular system there are two types f channels:
1. Contro chnnel: The control channel is used for setup, controlling and maintaing the phone call in the cellar system

2. Traffic channel: The traffic channel is used to carry data and voice packet in the cellular system.

So, False the controlling and signaling information is by the control channels and not by the traffic channels.

So, the statement is false as the cellular system is not used for controlling and signaling over the traffic channels.
