Stability and Smoothness : Applications running on Linux provides more stability and runs more smoothly rather than running on Windows because Linux is much faster, more secure than Windows ( Under the consideration of Cyber Security ).

Accessibility with Kernel : While running applications on Linux, it is easy to access the source code of kernel for altering ( if required ), whereas on Windows, very few users get access to modify the source code.

Run Level : While running applications on Linux, if anyone faces any issue, then they can easily use command line terminal and GUI for resolving the issue ( if solvable ). Whereas, in Windows, if anyone faces any issue while running an application, then rebooting ( under the administrator/root mode ) is the only option to fix the problem.
