Linear machine learning models are tend to be more transparent in decision making when compared to other machine learning models.
Linear ML models :

  • Linear Regression
  • Logistic Regression
  • Linear discriminant analysis

Reason:

simpler models tend to be more transparent and thus inherently more interpretable. The strongest machine learning model in terms of model transparency are linear models.

In linear ML models, it is very easy to debug , tune and easy to optimise machine learning model.
