Attitude drives behavior. If you want to succeed at anything you need to have the right mindset. attitude is the first thing people pick up on in face-to-face communication. It is not what happens to you that counts. It is how you react to what happens to you, especially when you have unexpected problems of any kind.

locus of control is the degree to which people believe that they have control over the outcome of events in their lives, as opposed to external forces beyond their control.Individuals with a strong internal locus of control believe events in their life derive primarily from their own actions. People with a strong external locus of control tend to praise or blame external factors

Self-efficacy is a person's belief that he or she can accomplish a particular activity It differs from locus of control by relating to competence in circumscribed situations and activities.

self esteem a final factor which contributes to an individual's possible selves and the direction of their motivated behaviour. Self-esteem refers to the positive or negative evaluation of oneself based on how well the current self fares against the possible selves
