AUTOMATION MAY NOT ADVERSELY AFFECT THE HUMAN WORKFORCE
Technology is developing each day. New inventions are coming up which may reduce even human efforts. Here we are going to discuss about the topic “automation may not adversely affect the human workforce”. We all get worried about automation in workforce because while getting automated in workforce means human efforts are reducing there will be problem of job less etc. But all those things cannot be possible because it has some limitations also. These limitations are describing in two journals.
First let’s have a summing up the details from this journal: Finnigan, D. (2016). Robots and Automation May Not Take Your Desk Job After All. Harvard Business Review, 2-4
In his journal it signifies that most of the jobseekers are worried about the automation in this field. But he itself provides an example that this is not practically possible to some extent. The reason for that is the humans have capability to manage task, take responsibility, understand the situation and a work in relationship between employees is possible. When these all gets automated these cannot be possible. Another example the author is saying about the education system. When the education system becomes automated, example online class like in universities then the students will not be having a proper education. Then in Health and care field also this is not possible. For a company place the role of automation for storing data, collecting data’s and producing algorithm these can be automated but humans have a role for that.
Secondly summarizing this journal: Mims, C. (2016, December 11). Automation Can Actually Create More Jobs. Wall Street Journal, pp. 1-2.
According to his point of view the automation had become a change in era. In automation it means stealing the human jobs. With growth of automation there are more facilities introduced. In case of agriculture new equipment’s are introduced this helps us to increase productivity and become richer. By this automation factory jobs disappear and humans get suffered more.
In some point of view, it is a boon and bane also. It helps in development of our country. But unemployment may increase. Automation does not any impact on humans. Humans works will be them only because of their responsibility, understanding behaviour etc.
