Energynew/Energyold = (voltage * ( 1 - 15%) )2 / voltage2

= (voltage * ( 1 - (15/100) ) )2 / voltage2

= (voltage * ( 1 - 0.15 ) )2 / voltage2

= (voltage * 0.85 )2 / voltage2

= 0.852

   = 0.7225

thereby reducing energy to about 72.25% of the original. For power, we add the ratio of the frequencies

Powernew/Powerold = (Energynew/Energyold) * ( (Frequency switched * ( 1 - 14%) ) / Frequency switched )

= 0.7225 * ( (Frequency switched * ( 1 - (14/100)) ) / Frequency switched )

= 0.7225 * ( (Frequency switched * ( 1 - 0.14) ) / Frequency switched )
