Answer #1

Ans: Encoding

  • Encoding is the process which is concerned with properly identifying the address of sender and the receiver.
  • Communication begins with the sender . When encoding a message a sender has to decide what he wants to transmit.
  • The decision is based on what he knows about the receiver knowledge and assumptions . And also what the receiver wants to receive.
  • So encoding take cares of all the identifications and knowledge about the sender and the receiver.

It's not formatting and encapsulation because:

The work of formatting is just to transform information from one format into another.

The work of encapsulation is to hide the data and preventing the unauthorized person to directly accesss the data.
