A physical DFD actually shows how everyting is working inside like the movement of physical stuffs. It depicts how the curent system is operating or how it will be implemented.It includes manual procedures or programs as processes. Physical files, database are represented by data stores.

It shows how everything is controlled for coompletion of a process,security or obtaing a record.

It differs from logical DFD as logical DFD shows processes involved without showing how everything is going on inside while the physical DFD depicts the physical stuff movement and how these stuffs are moving.
