Yes, Social media can be both a blessing and threat for anh organization or any individual also.

If the organization or any employees of organization uses social media positively and for the benefit of the organization, then it will be blessing. However there are some instances that organization or its employees can create a negative impact by using social media.

Example:

For blessing: If the organization creates awareness about its purpose and can be reached out to the targeted audience through social media very easily.

For Threat: If there are any loopholes in the organization, social media can show case those loopholes by studying its behaviour and every detail about the organization will easily spread out.
