Discuss how a project manager’s behaviour might differ across agile and traditional projects.

Homework Answers

Answer #1

A project manager's behaviour varies depending on the nature of the project. Some projects require immediate attention which have to be catered to on an urgent basis. These are termed as agile projects and require immediate attention otherwise the project delay can be detrimental to the progress and reputation of the company. Thus, the project manager will be more concerned for projects which are agile as they must be handled urgently. Now traditional projects are those which have sufficient past records from which knowledge or study can be extracted for performance of work. These are not to be performed urgently and naturally the project manager will be complacent for these.
