What is the broadband communication system and how broadband network support quality of service (Qos)?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

Broadband communication system:

This type of system offers fastest speed transmission rates. They offer channels in various directions for data transmission for different users. The service is provided using a telephone line.

Quality of service:

There are two ways of offering QoS using broadband.

It can be provided using many resources and peak demand is met due to the use of may resources. Safety margin is also considered here. It can be expensive and faster as well.

Another way is to use differentiated service. The quality service is offered using the Internet. Instead of using single flow, bulk flows are used. Only single negotiation is used for different packets. There are many service agreements used in this case.
