Does Independent Cascade Model (ICM) converge? Why? When the ICM stops running the algorithm has converged? Please justify your answer with details.
Answer)
Yes, it converges as it is an illustration to a graph with that of 6 nodes and the optimization would not contain access to all of these nodes in that of the network.
ICM contains a very low computational cost with respect to that of the iteration with respect to that of the conditional density. This converges in a much faster pace than with respect to the multiplicative update algorithm and in some cases, there could be many runs of the function which has been called much before every run and some after. So it is by default the residual would not get tracked and just the final residual would get saved.
