Answer #1
  • The Domain Name System (DNS) is a framework which provide names to the IP addresses of the sever and makes browsing easy. DNS is used for mapping IP addresses with domain names.
  • Every Device which is connected to Internet has a unique IP address. Web Browsers need IP addresses of the server. DNS translates domain names to IP addresses and thus makes browsing easy.
  • Whenever a user searches with a domain name, the DNS translates it to the IP address and then the browser loads the particular domain. Suppose a user has searched for google.com(domain name), DNS translates it to IP address which is 8.8.8.8(IP address of google.com). Thus it makes browsing easy.
