sea water has a specific gravity of 1.1. Find the viscosity of a sea water having kinematic viscosity 8 stokes. The above sea water velocity
distribution is given by u = (3/4)y - y^35



in which ‘u’ is the velocity in metre per second at a distance y metre above plate. Determine the speed
of flow at y = 120 mm, y = 180 mm & y = 240 mm. Draw a neat sketch of velocity profile based on obtained results and justify it.
