Answer #1

Percolation threshold is a concept uses the mathematical analysis in percolation theory that describes the formation of long range connectivity in random systems. Below the threshold giant connected component doesn't exist while above it's there exist a giant compenent of the order of sys size. In engineering and site works percolation represents the flow of fluids through porous media, but in the scientific World it generally refers to simplified lattice models of random systems or network.

There are different types of percolation models like 2d lattice, 3d lattice and different dimension models. Which are more useful in the site works
