Network Diagrams describes the flow a particular project would exhibit,showing each part of object in a sequential form. It tells whether a particular task of project needs to be done first or after a particular task needed to be completed, or if two task can run in parallel. Network diagram makes us to know the duration, costing of projects.

Critical path method is another project management tool to ensure the project is running effectively and as per schedule.Critical path is the sequence of activities which add up to the longest overall duration,but tells the shortest time possible to complete the project.So it is important to closely monitor the activities on the critical path and make sure that the activities go as per planned.
