Solution:

Parging is a technique used by masons to cover the surface of masonry wall. It is a thin coat of a cementitious or polymeric mortar applied to concrete or masonry for refinement of the surface. Parging is applied with a trowel and pressed to existing surface. Parging creates a water resistant barrier to keep the building dry and free from damage. It also helps to improve energy efficiency of building by sealing holes and leaks in concrete walls.

The unit of measurement of parging is m2 (square meters).
