2) The bio-solids such as municipal sludge, industrial sludge and fine solids can be incinerated by eliminating the sludge waste results in recovery of green energy source is called as waste sludge incineration.

3) The process by which thermal energy is generated in sewage treatment plant by incineration is called as waste sludge incineration.

ADVANTAGES:

1) Due to this process sludge transportation is avoided.

2) This process uses the co-generated heat at the site for sludge drying.

DISADVANTAGE:

1) It may impact the sorrounding air quality.
