not exactly a question just want some options.my idea for an architecture class is to do a design for a park. I want to know what software (for example AUTOCAD) do you recommend that I can learn on my own in a few weeks to carry out this project. I'm a beginner at this but want to give a go at it.

SketchUp is a 3D modeling computer program for a wide range of drawing applications such as architectural, interior design, landscape architecture, civil and mechanical engineering, film and video game design.

SketchUp is actually much easier to learn and use than Vectorworks IMO, so you should be able to achieve some skill with the software with little difficulty. Start your work in SketchUp

Sketchup is easier to use for 3D modeling. SketchUp is needed almost 30 days to learn simple designing.

You want to design a park than the SKETCHUP is the best software to fulfill your needs.
