If you are planning for a residential development project, which would be the better choice for storing plots and zoning data: Raster or Vector? Give at least three reasons behind your choice.

In case of dealing with residential planning, I would prefer storing the plot and zoning data in VECTOR format.

My three reasons are:

1. Residential areas are crucial which deals with the accurate plot to plot boundaries.

2. Also while marking more residential plots, the storage value in the VECTOR format occupies less storage without compromising on details.

3. Also, scan conversion is not required because when stored in RASTER format, the detail when zoomed in gets blurred and may not yield accurate markings.

In case of markings of natural forms like hills, lakes, vegetative lands then RASTER format would be preferable as we can compromise on boundary accuracy over such areas.
