1* Average control delay is the average for all vehicles during specified time period.Control delay caused by a control device either by a traffic signal or a Stop sign.

2*Uniform delay is the delay based on an assumption of uniform arrival and stable flow with no individual cycle. During every green phase the departure function catches up with arrival function.Total aggregate delay during this period is known as uniform delay.

3*The incremental delay is the delay in HCM method. The incremental delay term of the HCM is modified for X greater than 1 to use the saturation flow rate.

4*Queue delay is the total time from a vehicle joining an intersection queue to its discharge across the stop line on departure. The abeaver time in queue delay is average for all vehicles during a specified period of time.
