Loss of Greyish Colour of cement

Presence of lumps in cement

Adulteration (Rough feeling when pressed between fingers)

Temperature Variation

etc etc

The different quality checks on cement are :

* Colour should be grey and uniform.

* There should be no lumps present in cement

* It should feel cool not warm when hand is thown into cement bag.

* it should feel smooth between fingers not rough.

* if thrown into water container, it should sink after floating for some time

* Cement should never be older than 3month.
