● Genrally in the aquifers arranged in parallel, total flow is the summation of the flows in all parallel aquifers whereas in aquifers arranged in series, Total flow is same throughout the aquifer.

● In aquifers arranged in parallel, head loss is same in all the aquifer arranged in parallel but in series condition aquifers head loss are summation of the head loss in all parts of series connection.
