Discuss how the Kelvin temperature scale is related to Amontons’ Law and how, even though most gases can’t exist below 150°K, scientist were able to establish 0°K?
According to amantons law pressure of a gas is directly proportional to temperature.
P1/T1 =P2/T2
Temperature of the gas is measured in reference with the various movement of its particles. As tge temperature falls down the movement becomes slower and slower and at about 0 K movement stops. Physicist have now started making gas below 0K which is very interesting as nothing can be cooler than 0K but gases starts existing at temperature Below 0k. Negative temperature can be achieved in reference to the upper limit of the energy contained.
