A
theodolite was setup at a station Q, the height of the instrument
is 1.55 m whose R.L. is 1444 m A.M.S.L. Two elevated sights were
taken on a staff held vertically over a station S, the staff
readings obtained are 3.54 m with a V.C.R 274° 45' and 2.54 m with
a V.C.R 277° 05'. With drawing a good sketch, compute the
horizontal distance between the two stations QS, also find the R.L
of the station S.
