The employer, owner or the main contractor is responsible for the health and safety of the workers working on a site.Workplace should be safe so that the workers are more comfortable and confident when they are working in that environment and this has to be taken care by employer. It is the duty of the employer to protect the health and safety of their employees who are working at a site. He must make sure that the workers working at the site are safe from injury or harm therefore controlling the risk to the workers health that could arise from activities or works at the working place.Employer should conduct risk assessment which considers all the risks that could arise at a site while completing the job and should provide proper effective measure to minimize the risks to the health and safety of his workers.
