For a construction site, describe the importance of accurate survey data. And what would happen if no survey was done prior to the project start?

Survey in a construction site includes testing of soil(bearing capacity ,index properties etc) ,area of land , enviromental aspects, ease of transportation etc. These are important to take before any project of construction because if a structure is constructing in a site without knowing the capacity of soil then it will not ensure the durability of structure and it may collapse with the increase in load in a structure. If transportation facilities are not available then it will become very difficult to import raw material and other structural unit for the construction. That's why it is important to survey before any construction.

Accurate survey work is essential to avoid errors and collapse of a structure.
