Answer #1

USGS regression method are being used for regression analysis of the water quality constrains. Frequency and magnitude of the water flow is being determined by this process. This is a field method to determine these quantities. The difference between the two methods are that the stream stats method is a method in which modern technology is being used where as the regression method is a field method. This is the main difference between the two is about the concept that is being used to determine the magnitude and the frequency of the flow. The better method among the two is the USGS regression method as it is more easy and more useful as this is field method and it would be easy to use these method as various equations are being formed and no special technique is required in this method as it is required in the stream stats method of determining the flow.
