1-What fluid properties tend to affect surface tension among fluids and why?
2. Interestingly, soap solution or milk is not liquid. These are colloids. Why do you think they exhibit surface tension?
1) Surface tension is the energy required to increase the surface area of a liquid by a given amount. The stronger the intermolecular interactions, the greater the surface tension. There are some properties that affect the surface tension like viscosity because intermolecular interaction is varries . temperature also affect the surfecs tension As temperature decreases, surface tension increases. Conversely, as surface tension decreases strong; as molecules become more active with an increase in temperature becoming zero at its boiling point and vanishing at critical temperature.
2) soap solution and milk is not fluid but these are perform like a fluid or these are in the form of liquid that by soap solution and milk exhibit the surface tension and as we know that the surface tension is the property of fluid.
