Answer #1

Answer- Practical completion is certified by contract administration when all the work has been completed as described in the contract. If all the work is done as per the contract then the general contractor can ask for certificate of practical completion. This has effect of releasing half of the amount retention which is due to the contractor and ending of contractors liability. The client takes the possession of work for occupation after the completion certificate is issued.
