step 1 First decide whether you actually want to cancel it or it is just a feeling that you have only for this sort of time and actually cancellation may be a big mistake think about it.

step 2 If you want to cancel please do let the concerned authorities your problems first if they can provide you an alternative or any type of solution of your wish

step 3 If nothing happens and you have to cancel then write a mail and make humble request to cancel.

Repeat step 3 ... 2 to 3 times.
