Problems for the slow pace of progress in water supply service in Ghana:-Ghana is a tribal area thats why the various offers and schemes launched by government is not reach to the people of Ghana, the drinking water crisis is one of the main problem in Ghana, people don't have clean and fresh water for drinking they used to drink water from very polluted ponds and small rivers thats why they are suffering from many type of diseases and problems.
Due to lack of education people are unware about the importance of clean water and also they do not have proper knowledge that how can they take advantage of various schemes that is run by the respective ruling government.
Following are the main problems for slow progress of water supply service:-
a) Lack of awareness
b) Less water availability
c) Problems of transportation
d) Population density
e) Corruption
Etc.
II) Challenges for operation and maintenance of water supply facilities:-
Following are the main challenges :-
a) lack of resources
b) lack of education
c) Lack of transportation system
d) Lack of skilled labour
e) more population less resources
Etc.
III) Suggestion for possible changes:-
a) We have to teach and train people about hygiene and importance of clean water.
b) discuss and teach the local population about the various schemes and help that is run by government of ghana so that they can aware of each and every offer and get maximum benefit from them
C) for better water supply we have to use better transportation vehicles to supply the treated water.
D) make a water distribution center and tell people to come and take water from the centre according to their need.
