When performing Bernoulli's apparatus expirement, Why is it crucial for the Venturi-Meter to be level and horizontal? Please give a thorough awnser.
We know that bernoulli's equation is sum of pressure Head energy head and datum head between two points in venturimeter. So the bernoulli's experiment is dependent on datum head as per formula, datum means the level of water between two points in venturimeter So it needs to be horizontal although it and if it is level and horizontal the pressure in the venturimeter will be stable before conducting the experiment. Hence the venturimeter is to be level and horizontal .
Thank you.
