Hydraulics properties of fluids and their use in the new technologies?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

● The following are basic properties of fluids:

  1. Density
  2. Viscosity
  3. Temperature
  4. Pressure
  5. Specific Volume
  6. Specific Weight
  7. Specific Gravity
  8. compressibility

Use in the new technologies:-

1) Inflating Tires:- Due to property of fluid like pressure and viscosity we can inflate the tires by the pumps which can use in cars and other vehicles.

2) Hydraulic Systems:-A force applied at one point can be transmitted to another point using an incompressible fluid.

3) Aerodynamics:- properties of fluid like pressure and specific weight and temperature works in this.

4)Submarines:- In order to move up the submarine the property used which is viscosity.

Thank you.
