a. Nickel to steel
b.Chrome to steel.

i)

a) Nickel to Steel

• It improves the formability.
• It improves the ductility.
• It improves the weldability .
• Also helps in corrosion resistance in some media.

b)Chromium to Steel -

• It improves the resistance of steel against corrosion especially in oxidising media.
• It hardens steel .

ii) Maximum Percentage

Chromium to Steel - 1.5 percent

Nickel to Steel - 8 percent
