Dishonesty in engineering is generally regarded as unacceptable beacuse dishonesty in engineering includes several thing like:-

  • Lying
  • Failure to seek out the truth
  • Withholding expected information
  • Deliberate deception, but without lying

For example these things can leak information's of any company, can harm companies reputation, give loss to company etc and all these things are done by some person which is either directly or indirectly Dishonesty and all thses comes due to above given some properties of dishonesty.

So that the dishonesty in engineering generally regarded as unacceptable.
