Flexural rigidity: Flexural rigidity is defined as the rigidness for bending of a non rigid structure for a single amount of curvature

Significance: It is useful for design of all types of beams and very helpful in deflection

Stiffness: Stiffness is usually defined as the reciprocal of deflection, here AE/L represents stiffness for an axially loaded body like bar, its exact definition here is force required to produce a unit deflection in axially loaded bar.

Significance: This is useful in the analysis of any type of structure if we are doing matrix analysis
