The main problems in the submerged tunnel we can have are as follows-

1. The submerged tunnel is constructed at depth which is deep and due to this we can have high pressure we can damage the part of the tunnel and cause of leakage of water in it.

2.The wave action can cause vibration which can impact the joints.

3. The tunnel is in marine environment and the material can corrode.

4.The Dynamic load can cause fatigue failure in the anchor cables which can cause damage to the structure of the tunnel.

5.A collision can be a problem which we can face in the service life ,which can also damage the tunnel.
