The Engineer is a very educated learnt professional in the working environment and it has many ethical responsibility toward each attachment ,which is very huge . Engineers are expected that he will ensure highest level of honesty and integrity .and also the responsibility of Enginner to maintain impartiality ,equality and fairness among the people.

A-Responsibility of Engineer toward public-The responsibility toward public ,toward employer toward environment all are inter-related, if loss responsibilty for one must be loss for other .The most important ethical responsibility of Engineer toward public is the saftey .and secondly the health .Engineers responsibility also include the welfare of the people .Engineer should not performed any of the act which affect the interest of people.The engineer should not allow any machinary on the working site which does not fulfill saftey norms and the operator of the machinary should also having the licence and greater experience of the work .The constructional Engineer responsibity hold to more because construction is one of the major cause of environmental pollution so the site should be fenced and also should be far way from public reach if possible and the worker involved in the working must have all saftey measures such as the helmate,saftey shoes ,hand glubbs ,mask etc.

B-Engineer Responsibility toward Employer-The employee under the Engineer are two type one is skilled and second one is unskilled .skilled comprise of superviser,foreman,electrician,mechanic,welder fitter, operator,driver and unskilled are those such as labour for cleaning ,labour for curing ,labour for material shifting by hand .The unskilled labour usually do their work manually and since they are less educated or no educated so responsibility of Engineer became more for these type of employee in comperison to the skilled employee.The first and fore most responsibility of Engineer is to make aware to these peolple with the hazardous of the work and tell them the value of life .secondly because these generally from poor background so the renumeration on time is also one of the most important ethical responsibility of Engineer, this responsibility is also for skilled class.There are certain awareness inbuild in the skilled employee so here Engineer should also apreciate the performance and also should avoid the criticism toward any employee.

C-Engineer responsibility toward Environment-This is one of the most important ethical responsibilty of Engineer. And this responsibilty should hold not only engineer even sholud be hold by every living being who can think .The main cause of environmental pollution are ,Industrialisation ,construction and automobile .if we talk as a civil engineer then we should understand the impact of the construction on the environment.the dust particle of the construction material such as cement and fine grained sand increses the suspended particulate matter in the environment .which cause the air pollution so the protection of this air pollution belong to Engineer .and this responsibility comprise of ,There should be plantation which absorb more CO2 nearby the working area,If possible there should be installation of the air purifier ,there should be sprinkeling of water at the construction site time to time .Debrige of the concrete sholud not be left randomly.apart from these if any construction need cutting of tree then sholud be avoided .construction in water also should be avoided because it disrupt the aquatic biodiversity .The work should performed where there is no chance for bidiversity disruption .

This was all about ethical responsibility of engineer but this is very few and many of other ethical responsibility are there which have to hold the Engineer
