i) Bolting means fastener which are made from steel, mainly used to joint steel members or to hold the members. The 3 bolting categories are:
i) Anchor Bolt: mainly uses in concrete or masonry to embed for structural works.
ii) Carraige bolt: This is square undercut headed bolt use to fasten metal to timber and to hold the bolt in one place after it is tightened.
iii) Elevator bolt: This is a bolt, which has a flat and countershank head, mainly used in conveyor system.
