How carbon dioxide gas dominates as a green house gas?
Answer-A green house is a gas that absorbs or emitts radiant energy within the thermal infrared range. The gases used to trap heat are carbon dioxide, methane, water vapour, nitrous oxide etc.Out of these gases CO2 is more important green house gas than other gases.CO2 enters in the atmosphere by many ways CO2 enters the atmosphere through burning of fossil fuels ( coal, petrolium, peat, natural gas and oil) ,solid waste, trees and other biological materials and also as a result of certain chemical reactions eg.manufacture of cement. CO2 also produced in the processes of decay of organic materials and the fermentation of sugars in bread, beer, wine making. As CO2 is responsible for about three quarters of emissions and it can stay in the atmosphere for thousands of years. 81% of human contribution to the green house effect in 2018.
