In the field a surveyor measured the slope distance and zenith angle from point K to point M. The slope distance was recorded in the field book as 873.20 ft.. Unfortunately the surveyor forgot to record the zenith angle. The elevation of point K is 1329.84 ft and the elevation of point M is 1280.65 ft. The instrument and rod heights were equal at the time of measurement.
